Last week we had the school-wide family advocacy day where students and parents came in to meet with their teachers. Our PLC set up a booth where we gave out pamphlets in multiple languages. On the pamphlets we had tips and suggestions for parents to encourage their children in a positive way.
If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare worte poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, “Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.” Martin Luther King, Jr.
